Peter and Brenda Bartlett
After spending the first lock-down in a Tiny House at the Tiny House Builders factory, Peter (still one of our builders) and Brenda realised this was a real option for them.. It would give them the freedom they desired as they head towards their retirement.
Downsizing from their 3-bed home they are loving their new lifestyle where they live together with daughter Rebecca and her family, but importantly have their own space, and can come and go with ease, on trips away in the caravan! Recently winning the 2022 Best Commercial Tiny House, they are thrileld and love sharing their story.

Russell and Sarah Bone
Russell and Sarah decided to go Tiny as a permanent solution for their young family. They are currently on lease land a loving that their home is theirs and they can take it with them if they get relocated with the Airforce.

After purchasing this amazing piece of land years ago, Andrew decided it was finally time to put something there, but wasn't ready to build a large home as they currently live overseas. Keen skiers they come back to New Zealand often so this Pohutukawa Tiny has become their home sweet home and one with the land. They'd love to show you through when they are in town next.

Making the move to full time living on the island was several years in the making! The goal was to have a luxury affordable home that worked with the restrictions of their site, and their needs... this included seperate spaces, a bath complete with wine glass and candle shelf!
